Bathroom Fit for Guests

Lack of storage and tired finishes in this 1980's condo prompted the owner to remodel this frequently used guest bathroom. The bathroom was gutted and updated with a tall storage cabinet that has a right hinged bottom door for easy access to laundry supplies and a left hinged top door for easy access from the bathroom sink.

The soothing gray and white color palate make a perfect backdrop for color rich accessories. The tile shower surround and wainscotting adds texture and interest to this land locked room with no natural light.

Locating the lavatory faucet on the side of the sink ensured ample installation space for the shallow depth vanity. For added comfort and safety, electric resistant radiant floor heat and a shampoo shelf grab bar were incorporated. MDF millwork was replaced by solid wood millwork to mitigate water damage in the future.

Plumbing fixtures: Grohe, Toto, and Kohler. Cabinetry: Dura Supreme Cabinetry. Countertop: Penal Quartz. Tile: Sonoma Tile and Dal Tile. Shower Glass: Cardinal.
