A walkable location with an awesome view, the home's value/utility was undermined by the original construction and subsequent renovations, which were less than code compliant (extensive reengineering and necessary structural improvements were required to execute the remodel project). The dual cook/baker homeowners wanted to convert their drab 'one bottom' kitchen to a functional space with additional storage and work surfaces. By removing a demising wall between the kitchen and laundry room and relocating the electrical panel to the exterior of the home (sized for today's lifestyles), the overall storage and countertop space was increased by more than doubled, converting this combined kitchen-laundry room into an efficient two-person space, with more natural light.

Double wall ovens provide flexibility in meal preparation while the induction cooktop and downdraft exhaust system, provide safe, efficient cooking and an odor free kitchen (another project priority). The laundry machines were tucked behind the tall chef's pantry to conceal them from view. Additional amenities include concealed tandem trash and recycling, wine storage, phone charging station, tray dividers, motion activated kitchen faucet, adjustable roll-out shelves, roll-out kibble bin, low-maintenance linoleum floors and quartz countertops and enhanced lighting throughout.
