Take Down the Wall
With failing appliances and feelings of social isolation, a pair of active empty nesters decided it was time to upgrade their kitchen to meet their lifestyle. The highest priorities included: 1) removing a devising wall between the kitchen and living room to provide room for a kitchen island with seating and the ability to connect to the living room and television, 2) creating a baking center for the avid baker in the home and 3) incorporating low maintenance, high durability materials.
Materials include quartz countertops, red oak and painted frameless cabinetry, induction cooktop with down draft system, double wall ovens (convection microwave plus convection oven), French door refrigerator, chef's pantry, tray dividers, pop-up mixer, cookbook shelf and more!
The net result is a beautiful, well-appointed kitchen that facilitates cooking, baking, and entertaining without changing the footprint of the home. The kitchen is truly the life of the party!
