Shower Drops Keeping Falling on My Head

"Honey, water is dripping on my head from the kitchen can light, perhaps we need to remodel the master bathroom...NOW!" Needless to say, the objective was to address the water leaking from the master bathroom shower through the kitchen can light below as well as transform an awkward bathroom floor plan into a cohesive, attractive space with increased storage and updated finishes. The homeowners requested a more spacious shower with built-in seat and dual shower heads, tile floor with radiant floor heating, quartz countertops, painted cabinetry, better ventilation and lighting, and a storage bench which incorporated a beautiful piece of Douglas fir from a tree formerly in their backyard.

The L-shaped vanity was redesigned to provide more usable storage with drawers and convenient pull-out base pantry units. With an abundance of natural light and in an effort to minimize the room's volume, a darker blue paint color (which perfectly matches the berries on the water closet wallpaper) was used around the vanity and larger mirrors to help even out the vanity spaces.

The marble look-a-like porcelain tile floor and wall tiles combined with the quartz countertops and factory sealed shower glass ensure low maintenance with durable finishes. New exhaust fans and lighting ensure good indoor air quality as well as illumination on dark mornings.
