Welcome Home - Bathroom
The master bathroom was designed and built by a young couple in 1991. Fast forward five years and they accepted an overseas transfer that lasted 19 years. Upon returning to the United States they realized that their home no longer was a reflection of how they lived and what they found aesthetically pleasing — it was time for a full-gut remodel. The master bathroom was reconfigured to incorporate a "Japanese Style" wet room, a different orientation for the water closet and a double vanity. Additional amenities include a one-piece toilet with washlet, a bathtub with in-line heater, ozonator and air jets, and a fully integrated solid surface shower surround and tub deck/skirt and linoleum flooring which minimizes cleaning and maintenance requirements. Bamboo cabinets, quarry like quartz countertops, mirrored medicine cabinets and thermostatic shower valves round out the improvements.
"Attention to detail, meticulous documentation, exemplary work ethic, meeting or exceeding deadlines, wonderful communication, knowledgeable, organized, working tirelessly...we saw all of this in action. Molly McCabe's follow-through was extraordinary. She made sure that every detail (and there were many) was fulfilled to our satisfaction. Molly, and her partner Clive Pardy, worked with us as designer and contractor for an extensive remodel consisting of the kitchen, family room, three bathrooms, laundry room, and master bedroom while we were living overseas. It was amazing to see how well Molly and Clive worked together — with Molly working to her strengths of design, organization and follow-through, and Clive with his construction and financial expertise. The idea of building or renovating a home can be a scary and stressful experience. Molly and Clive made sure that our stress was minimized and that the renovation process went as smoothly as possible. Our thanks to Molly and Clive for a job well done!" ~ Julia N.
