Location, Location, Location - Laundry
The Homeowners wanted a utility sink on the first floor of their new home. They suggested installing it in the detached garage. To make the added sink more accessible (and keep the install costs down by not having to jack hammer up a concrete garage slab), the washer and dryer were stacked making room for the utility sink. A false wall was built to allow the dryer duct to run behind the sink cabinets which brought the front of the sink cabinet flush with the washer dryer for a nice aesthetic. This in turn allowed the wall cabinet above the sink to be deeper for extra storage. A custom cover was made for the sink and the faucet was set in the right corner to allow the sink counter to do dual duty as a folding station for laundry.
"A Kitchen That Works completely replaced and redesigned our outdated kitchen. They also met other needs and were able to repair and provide an excellent product in our home. The project was on time and on budget. They are sticklers for detail and perfection. We will hire them again when we have a need for other renovations." ~ Pat R.
