My Own Personal Spa
The Homeowners requested that the fit, finish and comfort of their master bathroom be improved. The large master was comprised of a two sink vanity, shower and deck mounted tub. The original installation of the tub required the occupants to climb onto the tub deck to open/close windows and window blinds and the carpeting, though soft on the feet was not warm and held both moisture and odors. The bathroom lacked good artificial lighting and quiet efficient exhaust fans.
The Homeowners wanted a relaxing retreat for the master bath and anything but pink for the fixtures (the former toilet and sink were raspberry pink). What they received was all of the above and more! The shower in this master bath grew from 32"x 32" to 66"x 36" (by removing the devising wall and incorporating the space once allocated to a never used make-up vanity) with two shower heads control by separate pressure balance valves and a generously proportioned seat (behind the knee wall). The semi-frameless glass with the mitered corner lends to the simple elegance of this shower. The built-in shower seat and shampoo niche provide respite and simplicity for Homeowners in need of relaxation. For added luxury, heated floors and a heated tile bar were added. The lighting and ventilation were also improved.
"Molly, Clive and the A Kitchen That Works team remodeled our master bathroom. We were impressed by their attention to detail, high standards and the thoughtful care with which they treated our home. We are thrilled with our new bathrooms and would not hesitate to recommend A Kitchen That Works!" ~ Christine J.
