It is time to relax
The homeowner has a demanding career and desired a bathroom with a more soothing atmosphere than the builder grade master bath was providing. The primary objectives of the project were to create a soothing color pallet and textural feel to the room while increasing the ease of use and storage space. The challenges included a chamfered ceiling and a sky light that limited the use of wall and/or tall storage cabinets as well as crown molding; a desire for a full width mirror, poor lighting and the code requirement for proper ventilation without having to make additional perforations in the roof. Solutions provided included a color pallet of creams, golds, greens, greys and a warm satin nickel finish on fixtures; frameless cabinetry provided full access storage while the custom designed mirrored wall cabinet (with built-in receptacle for tooth brush charging) and supporting mirrors provided not only additional storage but also the quantity of mirror the homeowner had grown accustom to; dual port exhaust fans provided the required ventilation with an ultra quiet in-line blower and a single roof perforation; and dimmable lighting controls allows the occupant to control the lights to suit their mood.
"My sincere thanks to Molly, Clive and all the contractors for making a job I had dreaded into one I truly enjoyed. My new master bathroom is wonderful. A job well done!" ~ Julie R.
