NW Contemporary Whole House Remodel

In June 2006 Molly McCabe, AKBD, CGP & Clive Pardy commenced a Three Star Built Green® whole house remodel of their 1979 manufactured home. The house was methodically deconstructed down to the exterior walls and sub-floor in an effort to preserve as much material as possible for reuse, sale or donation. Materials that did not meet these criteria were responsibly recycled. The home was reconstructed using sustainable design and build principals and materials. The net result is a beautiful, healthy home that affords Ms. McCabe's clients an opportunity to see, touch and feel the gorgeous side of green. Ms. McCabe received the 2009 Environmental Design + Construction Magazine Finalist Award for Excellence in Design for this project.
