Ten Shades of Gray - Bathroom
The empty nester Homeowners were downsizing from a very large custom home with a bathroom they loved to a spacious town home with a spectacular view from the master bathroom. The trick was how to enjoy the view without the neighbors enjoying a view of the Homeowners while simultaneously incorporating the amenities they had enjoyed in their former home. With strategic setbacks and use of materials, the Homeowners are able to enjoy the view while maintaining their privacy during bathing and grooming activities. Additionally, by removing the corner tub and extending the wall between the water closet and the shower, room was made for a large doorless shower and a make-up vanity with ample storage. From the custom Milestone floors and shower surround, to the cabinets, to the countertops, to the walls and beyond, there are a variety of shades of gray incorporated in this contemporary styled project.
"We used A Kitchen That Works for an extensive remodel of our newly purchased townhome. They designed our new kitchen, master bath and walk-in closet. They took down walls and put up new ones, changed plumbing and wiring, installed fixtures, and appliances. Everything was done on schedule and was done perfectly! They went above and beyond our expectations and we are thrilled with the results. We have already referred two friends to Molly and Clive and hope to refer many more. We give them A+." ~ Becky S.
